In 2007, three people decided to place slot machines in an ordinary student dormitory bomb shelter. On April 13 of the same year, they decided to open a very interesting museum there. The first exhibits were purchased. The rest were found in different places. A large number of machines required restoration. Of the three machines, one worker was obtained.

Three years later, the museum moved to the premises where the Rot Front factory used to be. 40 different exhibits have already been presented here. In 2011, the collection was moved to Baumanovskaya street. The number of machines increased by 10 pieces. Since 2019, the collection has been in the VDNKh pavilion.

Exposure features

There are 50 various automatic machines in the collection of the museum. These are such legends as "Sniper", "Gorodki", "Sea Battle"; and other equally interesting and very rare exhibits.

There are 35 vending machines in the VDNH pavilion. Also, there are constantly interactive exhibitions "How Soviet Childhood Smells", "Touch the Past"; and others. The main collection is located at 12 Rozhdestvenka Street, and the branch is located in the VDNKh pavilion. The collection is interactive. When buying a ticket to the museum, visitors receive a fifteen-kopeck coin. It must be lowered into a special coin acceptor for the machine to start.
