Over time, they collected a whole collection, which was first presented to the Moscow population in 1867. At first, only the estate was enough for them, but with the rapid increase in the number of exhibits, the brothers began to think about opening their own full-fledged gallery. And they succeeded, the gallery was opened in 1874. In it they stirred many masterpieces, now there are more than 200 thousand of them at the moment.
