Skate parks in Moscow

There are many interesting venues in Moscow where you can learn skateboarding and ride for your own pleasure.

Gardeners Park

Considered one of the best locations for skateboarding. The total area of ​​the site is 2750 meters. The park is located on Andropov Street. On the site there are obstacles of various shapes and sizes, there is a spacious pool. The area around the park is landscaped and looked after. You can rent a bike or a scooter.

Park in Kuzminki

The site has elements for professional skateboarders and for amateurs. The advantages of the location include numerous benches that offer a view of the spot. To the disadvantages – poor quality coverage. On the site, they ride bicycles and roller skates, play volleyball, table tennis and work out on simulators. You can go in for sports here at any time of the year.

Park in Sokolniki

Here beginners can learn how to skateboard and scooter. The site has different slides, banks, quarterpipes, ramps, radii, boxes and small steps. In summer, a free playground is open in Sokolniki.

The skatepark decorated with graffiti was built according to European standards. Sokolniki has two playgrounds designed for different seasons. In the heat or in the rain, you can practice here on the platform with a canopy. In winter, there is an opportunity to ride on a free skating rink.

Krasnaya Presnya Park

The first concrete skatepark in the capital. One of the most visited sites in the capital. There is enough space for everyone, both cyclists and skaters. There are enough figures in order to try your hand or hone your skills. All structures in the park fit into the natural landscape. Guards keep order in the park. Many people here ride all night until the morning, as the site is lit at this time.

Perovsky Park

This is a spacious area with a large number of figures. It is valued for its developed infrastructure. In the park, you can learn new tricks, or you can just enjoy riding. There are two corresponding zones here. The site area is 2600 sq.m. Reinforced concrete pavement, about 100 mm thick. The park has 4 verandas where athletes can relax, 2 information pylons and a stage.

Park under the Crimean overpass

The area for beginner skateboarders is located right under the bridge. Due to the nature of the location, few people visit the park. But many here go rollerblading even in winter, because the location protects from precipitation.

In total, 15 recreation areas in Moscow parks are now equipped with such playgrounds. You can visit each of them only if safety precautions are observed.
