Vadim Zadorozhny Museum of Technology – the largest private museum in Russia, which presents the most interesting collections of old cars, military vehicles and agricultural equipment. Various weapons and other equally interesting items are also exhibited here. This is the first technical museum that managed to reach the world level. It gives an idea of ​​the auto industry in Russia and other countries from 1930 to 1980.

As the founder himself admits, this museum is not a business for him. Profits are spent on the acquisition of exhibits and their restoration, as well as on the expenses and development of the museum. Vadim Zadorozhny preserves the past for his contemporaries and future generations. He really likes that visitors have a genuine interest in his unique collection.

Exposures

The entire collection is divided into two expositions. Some of the equipment is on the street. The area of ​​the territory is 3.5 hectares. There are also exhibition halls. Their area – 6 thousand square meters. They are located on three floors at once. In total, 1000 exhibits are presented here. Their number is constantly increasing. Visitors can see unusual retro cars, various vintage motorcycles, all kinds of artillery, as well as aircraft, weapons, propaganda posters and many other equally interesting things.

The beginning of the collection was laid by a fairly compact BMW with an unusually shaped body. Year of its release – 1934. An interesting exhibit – "Grosser-Mercedes", which was used for parades by Hitler. Then he presented it to the Croatian dictator A. Pavelić. Later this car was handed over to Stalin. Other interesting cars in the – ZIS-110 and ZIS-115, which were driven by Beria and Stalin. You can also see the cars of the heads of the Russian state.

A unique exhibit of this unusual museum – the mysterious Buick. Year of its release – 1929. He was presented to one of the deputies. People's Commissars of the aviation industry when he was in America. The car was secretly taken to the dacha and placed in a garage. Here she was completely covered with the usual cream and carefully covered with blankets. In this form, it stood until the 1990s. The car has been remarkably well preserved to this day. He has everything "native": wheels, coating and interior.

The technique of the museum is absolutely "alive". All cars start and run great. These exhibits very often take an active part in various reconstructions, various parades, and are also filmed in various Russian films.

In addition to cars in the museum, you can see motorcycles 1920 – 1960s, railway equipment and other equally interesting exhibits.
In the building and on the street, aircraft from the First World War, as well as the post-war eras, are displayed. Tanks, armored personnel carriers, guns, howitzers, artillery of the 1930-1980s are exhibited at a special area near the museum.
