Where to go and what to see

Where to go and what to see

If you were given the opportunity to go back in time and relive your vacation (or vacations), you would surely find a lot of points that would be worth changing. In particular, the cultural and entertainment program. What to see on vacation, where to go, how to spend time in general – just lying on the beach surrounded by shrimp husks, jumping from a parachute, descending from all the water and snow slides, or visiting every single church, museum and cemetery with the holy relics of ancestors? The recommendations of experienced tourists will help you not to waste a wonderful vacation time and finances.

1.    Create your sightseeing itinerary. On your own, you can have time to see a lot more and moreover, exactly what you are interested in and like. This is not news, but, nevertheless, many people trust group tours for one simple reason – ignorance of the local language. It is much easier to download a translator to your gadget, which will translate not only your speech or the speech of the interlocutor, but also signs in a few seconds.
2.    Get up early to get to your desired attraction before the midday heat and the influx of tourists. But do not forget to clarify in advance the opening hours of a particular – they are always different, besides, they depend on the days of the week and local holidays.
3.    Take into account the time of travel and relevant events in the selected country during this period. For example, everyone goes skiing in the Alps in winter. But even in summer you can have a great time in the spa hotel – lower prices and no crowds. In September, the world-famous Oktoberfest – impressions will last a lifetime. And in July in France you can fall on the Beaujolais feast – completely free.
4.    Don't waste time on numerous photo shoots. Believe me, no one will be interested in seeing thirty shots of the Colosseum from 1 cm apart. You will spend time twisting and turning back and forth, crouching, tilting and other body movements in search of the perfect shot for your photo collection. But the main thing – attraction itself! – miss it and you won't be able to enjoy it to the fullest. Therefore, do not forget: you are a simple person on vacation, and not a fashion model or photojournalist at work. Enjoy the real pleasures of a vacation, not pictures of dead rocks and paintings.
5.    Send yourself a postcard every day. It's better than wasting time constantly shooting. And when you return home, you will find a collage of colorful postcards, reminding you of all the places you have visited and the adventures experienced there.

Do not ignore these simple tips from experienced travelers, and when you return home, you will not be tormented by the feeling that you forgot to do something on vacation.
